Catalan Sheepdog Club of GB – Rescue
Sadly, from time to time, a Catalan Sheepdog may need to be found a new home. When a dog becomes available we will publish an image, a description and will be honest about the reason for the rehoming need. To help ensure a good owner and dog match it is our policy to vet the new home and owner for suitability.

Rescue News: April 2018
Freddie is urgently in need of a foster home.
Introducing – Fred aka Freddie
Freddie is a 4.5 year male urgently in need of a home.
Let me introduce Fred aka Freddie.
Fred has found himself coming into rescue as his owner cannot cope with his behaviour issues.
We have a very comprehensive report on Fred’s behavioural issues.
Fred is 4 ½ years old he has been in the same home since he was 8 weeks old.
For the first 2 years of Fred’s life, his owner was around all the time until he sadly passed away. After this, Fred stayed in the same home with his owner’s partner. As the partner worked 5 days a week Fred had to be left at home, but he did have a dog walker come in once a day.
At the moment Fred’s coat needs sorting out, which is being organised.
We are desperately looking for someone to foster Fred for us until we can find a permanent home. He will need to go to a home where there are only adults and no other dogs.
We need someone who is experienced in fostering dogs with behavioural issues and who has a good knowledge of training as we feel Fred could be rehabilitated in the right hands.
If you think you are that special person who could offer Fred a way out of kennels and foster him, please contact me at angie@brandycarr.co.uk
When rehoming a Catalan, a donation is appreciated, to be paid directly to Angie Fieldsend for Catalan Sheepdog Rescue.
