Sadly, from time to time, a Catalan Sheepdog may need to be found a new home. When a dog becomes available we will publish an image, a description and will be honest about the reason for the rehoming need. To help ensure a good owner and dog match it is our policy to vet the new home and owner for suitability.

Beauden

Beauden is a 4 year old neutered male who needs a quiet home, with no children. He is fawn.

Here are a few words from his current owner.

Beauden has unfortunately struggled over the past few years with reactivity – especially with other dogs. We’ve worked with a few trainers and it seems that he needs a lot of de-sensitivity training. We’re not entirely sure what has caused this but we suspect it was from a few negative experiences when he was younger despite our best attempts to socialise him. We have done a lot of work, but I fear the environment doesn’t help. There’s a reactive dog next door to us.

I feel that Beauden would benefit from someone who was able to help him with his sensitivity issues and a quiet environment with no other dogs. My wife and I feel so upset and heartbroken as he’s just nervous boy who is so loving .

He has no health issues (neutered due to retained testicle at 1 year) that we know of and is used to being groomed.

I want to emphasise how absolutely brilliant he is – if the reactivity wasn’t becoming problematic.

3 Year Old Male

We have a 3 year old male looking for a new family. He has lived in a home before but has now found himself looking for a new family again.

When he was with his family, the household was completely female, so he would need time to get used to men in a new family, but I am sure that with patience he would settle. He is very good with children and needs to be the only dog. He would like an active home.
